Cancon2015 Debrief

Player's area at Cancon 2015

Well, it was a hell of a weekend. Our first time at Cancon, and our first major gaming convention. It was, as I keep finding myself saying; beyond all expectations. We had a great time, and would like to thank all the people who visited our stand, it was a pleasure meeting each and every one of you. We did get out from behind the table from time to time, and we saw many awesome stalls, miniatures, scenery, games (oh my!), fantastic cosplayers and netted some great loot.

Our sculptor; Pendix was also able to finally meet some of the other miniature sculptors in the Australian Gaming Industry. He got to speak with the incomparable Sebastian Archer (of Guild of Harmony) and Delaney King (Darkling Games) who was sculpting even in the middle of the convention. Not to mention all the other excellent businesses we got to see like Wartime Miniatures and CNC Workshop,  the great guys behind  Hall of Heroes, and, of course, pillar of the Aussie  gaming community; Eureka Miniatures. To name just a few.

The whole convention had a exceptional energy to it, loads of people all coming together to enjoy tabletop games. It was amazing and we will surely be back next year.
